Insurance Education

In addition to the insurance education programs available through the Institute, there are a number of post-secondary institutions where there are Chairs of Insurance or full-time insurance programs. Many of these programs offer students the opportunity to complete a number of credits towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute, and there are numerous scholarships and prizes available for qualified applicants.

Long a pioneer in French-language, degree-level insurance education, Université Laval, through its Faculty of Business Administration, holds the oldest Chair of Insurance in Canada.
