About this course

In this course, you will delve into the identification and resolution of risk. You will learn analysis techniques for identifying risks and will outline alternatives for managing risks, including transfer to insurance and financial organizations. You will examine some specific and emerging risks, such as cyber and reputation. This course is part of the Risk Management Certificate program.

Course goals

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

Identify and explain key technical information related to risk assessment and treatment.

Apply risk assessment and treatment solutions to case-based scenarios.

Credit recognition

This course counts towards the foundational course requirements of the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, recognized by RIMS, the risk management society. Once registered in this course, you can contact GRMI (Global Risk Management Institute ) to register for the corresponding CRM exam.
