Dr. Ben Daee is a forensic Civil/Structural Engineering expert with 20 years of experience in construction claims, litigation, and failure analysis. He holds B.S., M.S., and PhD degrees in Structural Engineering and is a licensed engineer in both Canada and the U.S. Dr. Daee specializes in forensic investigations, assessing the standard of care, and root cause analysis for various building and structural failures. He advises lawyers, insurers, contractors, and municipalities on design/build issues, material failures, and liability. With certifications in construction and contract law, he assists in dispute resolution through mediation, arbitration, and expert testimony.
Timothy Dowden has over 13 years of experience in construction consulting, specializing in project management, damage assessment, cost estimating, and claim analysis. He has managed claims related to collapse, fire, wind, hail, water, and flood damage across the U.S. and Canada. His expertise spans the renewable energy sector, particularly utility-scale solar and wind projects, as well as commercial construction, hospitality, and high-end residences. Tim has consulted on large-scale claims in renewable energy, gaining broad industry insights. He is known for his technical expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality service in property loss, builder’s risk claims, and damage quantification.
