Admission documents
Before applying for admission to the FCIP, you will need to gather some documentation:
Canadian university transcript
If you are applying with a university degree (Regular route), you will need to obtain and submit copies of official transcripts from the institution(s) you attended. An image of a diploma or certificate is not considered equivalent to a transcript.
International university transcript + letter
If your university credentials are from outside Canada, then in addition to your transcript you will also need to obtain and submit a letter from a recognized comparative education service confirming evaluation of the university transcript.
Examples of recognized comparative education services include:
- The Comparative Education Service at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies
- World Education Services Canada
- Direction de l’enregistrement et de l’évaluation comparative of the Gouvernement du Québec
Work experience form
If you are applying through the Advanced CIP route, you will need to complete and submit the FCIP work experience form. Once you have completed the CIP, you can access the FCIP work experience form by logging into My Account.
