The Institute offers approved learning options for Levels 1, 2 and 3 General Agent/Broker licences.

Level 1

Please contact us with any questions about the education component of your licensing requirements.

Level 2

Complete the level 1 licence requirements and successfully complete one of the following:
C130: Essential Skills for the Insurance Broker and Agent 
or
C131: Advanced Skills for the Insurance Broker and Agent
 
or
Hold a CIP or FCIP designation (or another designation that ICM considers equivalent).

Level 3

You must have held a level 2 licence for 2 years immediately prior to applying for a level 3 licence.
You also need to successfully complete C132: Practical Issues in Broker Management.
